Replacement of the broken klapanny springs and maslootrazhatelny caps of cores of valves does not demand carrying out removal of a head of cylinders. Performance of this procedure usually needs existence of two special tools and a source of the compressed air. Attentively familiarize materials of the Section and in advance prepare all necessary materials and tools. If access to a source of the compressed air is categorically impossible, for deduction of valves from falling in cylinders in the course of performance of procedure it is possible to use a piece of a nylon cord.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Uncover heads of cylinders (The section Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders).
  2. Unscrew a cylinder spark plug in which there are defective components. If there is a need for replacement of maslootrazhatelny caps of cores of all valves, remove all candles.
  3. Turn a cranked shaft so that the piston of the corresponding cylinder appeared in VMT of the end of a step of compression (see. The section Reduction in the provision VMT of a step of compression of the piston of the first cylinder). If maslootrazhatelny caps of cores of all valves are subject to replacement, begin with the cylinder No. 1 and serve valves of each of cylinders serially. From the cylinder to the cylinder pass as ignition (see. Specifications).
  4. Screw an adapter in a candle opening and connect to it a hose from a source of the compressed air. Demanded type the adapter can be found in any of shops of automobile accessories.

  1. Remove bolts, spherical support and yokes of valves of the cylinder with defective components, then take bars of pushers.   2. Submit to the cylinder the compressed air.

Pressure of air the piston can move sharply down, having caused a sudden provorachivaniye of a cranked shaft.   2. If access to a source of the compressed air is absent, or wear of valves and their saddles does not allow to use it, it is necessary to resort to an alternative method of keeping of valves. Bring the piston into situation about 45 ° before VMT of a step of compression, then fill a piece of a nylon cord through a candle opening in the combustion chamber, having completely filled it of. Two various types of tools for compression of klapanny springs without removal of a head of cylinders from the engine are issued. One tool is hooked for the bottom rounds of a spring and at rotation of the handle provides pressing a plate of a spring whereas the second tool shown in drawing, operates as the lever, with use as a point of support a yoke bolt. Both such as tools work equally well, however the second costs cheaper a little.


  1. Use of the tool for compression of a klapanny spring without removal of a head from the engine - crackers of the cutting lock can be taken now from a flute on a valve core by means of nippers or a magnet (the second is more preferable).
  1. Remove a plate or a rotary support of a spring, the plug (it is used on some types of valves) and assembly of a klapanny spring, then remove a maslootrazhatelny cap of the directing plug

  4. Grease a valve core with impellent oil, and its end face - assembly impellent greasing and establish a new maslootrazhatelny cap of the directing plug, freely pulling its core of the valve before complete landing on a plug ledge.

Caps put on extremely carefully, trying to avoid damage them about keen edges of flutes under installation of crackers.

  1. Establish on the valve a spring.
  2. Establish a plate of a klapanny spring (or a rotary support). Compress a spring and establish crackers of the cutting lock in a flute on a valve core. For keeping of crackers in a flute to an otpuskaniye of the tool compressing a spring, put on their internal walls of a little dense greasing.
  3. Release the tool compressing a spring and make sure of correctness of landing of crackers.
  4. Disconnect an air hose and turn out an adapter from a candle opening. If the cord was applied, take it from the cylinder.
  5. Establish to the place of the Bar of pushers, a yoke, spherical support and bridge brackets (The section Removal, check of a condition and installation of yokes and bars of pushers).
  6. Screw a candle (and) ignitions and connect a candle wire (and) (Head of Control and routine maintenance).
  7. Establish into place a cover of a head of cylinders (The section Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders).
  8. Start the engine and check it on leakages of oil and existence of the extraneous sounds proceeding from under a cover of a head.
