The cowl is rather heavy element of a body and installation represents it sufficient difficult procedure. Removal and installation of a cowl it should be made by strengths of at least two people. |

- For protection in the course of removal of a cowl of the painted surfaces of a fairing and wings of the car cover them with blankets and whether covers specially let out for this purpose.
- Mark the provision of loops concerning a car body for a guarantee of the correct installation of a cowl at assembly (use a chertilka, a marker or easily washing away paint).
- Disconnect all disturbing to cowl removal cables and wires.

- Before removal of a cowl disconnect from it a plait of wires of a lamp of illumination of an impellent compartment.

- By means of the assistant who will support a cowl, give nuts of fastening of loops to it.
- Lift a cowl.
- Installation make upside-down.

Adjustment
|
|
- Longitudinal and cross-section adjustments of provision of a cowl in an aperture of an impellent compartment are carried out by shift it concerning plates of loops after preliminary weakening of bolts of their fastening.
- For an assessment of size of shift of a cowl lead round plates of loops.
- Weaken fixing nuts and displace a cowl (not on many for each approach), as appropriate correcting its situation. Tighten fixing nuts (or bolts), carefully close a cowl and check correctness of its situation.
- Adjust the provision of shock pillows on a radiator support so that the cowl when closing appeared aflush with the top panels of wings.
- The provision of assembly of a clamp of the lock on a cowl also can be adjusted in the longitudinal or cross-section directions after weakening of fixing bolts.
- The lock, also as well as loops, should be greased regularly with white greasing on a lithium basis in order to avoid a souring and service life extension (decrease in speed of wear).
