Fusible inserts - the general information
Protection of some contours is carried out by inclusion in their electric chain of fusible inserts. Inserts are usually used for protection of contours not equipped with safety locks, such as an ignition contour.
Fusible inserts on these models are similar to safety locks in the sense that their exit out of operation (oplavleniye) easily is defined visually. Inserts equipped the block of distribution of capacity (PDC) in an impellent compartment (The Relay section - the general information).
For replacement of a fusible insert at first disconnect a negative wire from the battery. Take burned-down insert and establish on its place new (can be acquired in dealer office or shop of automobile accessories). Before insert replacement surely try to define the reason of the overload which has caused its exit out of operation.
