Check of serviceability of functioning and replacement of the universal podrulevy switch

All considered models are equipped with a safety cushion. The pillow constantly is in the "guarded" condition and can work to (be inflated) at any moment at the connected battery. In order to avoid casual operation of a pillow (and receiving as a result of a trauma) each time at carrying out any works with components of system of safety disconnect a negative wire from the battery. After a wire detachment from the battery before starting to work wait at least two more minutes (the system is equipped with the condenser to which needs time for a discharge). Universal podrulevy the switch is located on the left side of a steering column and serves for inclusion of indexes of turn, windscreen and blinking cleaners/washers as head headlights.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remove podrulevy the switch (see item 1).
By means of an ohmmeter or the sampler equipped with the independent power supply, being verified with given in the end of Head schemes, check a continuity between noted plugs at various positions of the switch (see an illustration). If the result does not correspond to demanded conditions, replace the switch.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
Remove the top and bottom covers of a casing of a steering column and a knee blokirator (Head the Body). Disunite the electric socket (what needs the special tool with a confidential head of the TORX type), then remove the switch from a column.

Disunite the electric socket (And) the universal podrulevy switch, having given for this purpose three sealed-up screws (In) and remove the switch.

Installation make upside-down.
