Removal and installation of a head of cylinders
|
|
Before starting procedure performance, let's to the engine cool down completely. |
Removal
|
|
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Merge a cooler from a radiator and the engine block (Head of Control and routine maintenance).
- Remove air purifier assembly (Head of the Power supply system and production of the fulfilled gases).
- Disconnect a fuel tube and a hose of the vacuum proof-reader of an advancing of ignition.
- Uncover heads of cylinders (The section Removal and installation of a cover of a head of cylinders).
- Remove yokes and bars of pushers (The section Removal, check of a condition and installation of yokes and bars of pushers).
- To Otboltita an arm of the pump of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel (if it is equipped) and put the pump aside without disconnecting from it hoses so that liquid did not follow from it.
- Remove the inlet pipeline and a final collector (The section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline / a final collector).
- Remove from a head of cylinders an arm of a tension roller of a driving belt of the conditioner of air (if it is equipped).
- Weaken a tension of a driving belt of the generator and give a bolt of fastening of an arm of the generator to a head of cylinders.
- Disconnect a plait of wires and отболтите the compressor of the conditioner of air (if it is equipped), without disconnecting refrigerator lines of system. Put the compressor aside and give two top bolts from an arm.

- Put the compressor aside with the refrigerator lines connected to it - then give the top bolts of an arm (arrow).
|
- Mark candle wires and uncover the distributor together with the wires connected to it. Remove spark plugs (Head of Control and routine maintenance).
- Disconnect wires from the sensor of temperature of a cooler which is located in a forward part of the engine in the thermostat case (The head of System of cooling, heating and air conditioning). Also disconnect a wire of grounding of the battery (on the right side of the engine).
- Remove the ignition coil assembled with an arm (Head System of electric equipment of the engine).
- Liberate from clips on the passenger party of a head of cylinders heater hoses. Give shlangovy collars ahead and put hoses out of the way.
- Give fixing bolts and remove a head from the engine. If the head "became attached" to the block, get the lever to the final port and slightly hook it.

The bolt No. 14 (see an illustration) cannot be removed finally until the head will not be shifted forward. Delay a bolt up on so many, on how many it is obviously possible and fix it in this situation, having wrapped up an adhesive tape, then push a head forward and take a bolt. |

Installation
|
|
- Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces, having removed from them all traces of a material of old laying. Stop up cylinders with paper towels in order to avoid an obranivaniye of extraneous subjects in them.
- Check a head on existence of cracks and violations of planeness of an interfaced surface. Information on service of a head is provided in Head of Procedure of the general and major maintenance of the engine. Having put a planeness measuring instrument (an edge of a steel ruler) whether to a head and the block check their interfaced surfaces are deformed. If between an edge of a ruler and a surface passes an edge щупа in the thickness more than 0,20 mm, (the ruler should be pressed to a surface on all its length), it is necessary to give the head/block on a frezerovka. If head replacement is made, do not forget to transfer on it with old all fixture and other.
- Lay new laying of a head on the engine block so that marking in the form of the word TOP (Top) was turned up. It is not necessary to apply any hermetic at laying installation.
- Wrap up (as at removal) a bolt No. 14 an adhesive tape and insert it into a head. Establish a head on the block and remove an adhesive tape from a bolt.
- Grease a bolt No. 11 carving with Locktite 592 type hermetic (or its equivalent), then establish bolts of fastening of a head, having tightened them by hand.

Bolts of a head can be used again only once. Therefore, having smoothed out heads of bolts, mark them paint. If the removed bolts already were marked with paint, it is necessary to replace them. |
|
- Tighten bolts in an order shown on an accompanying illustration, observing the following requirements:
- Stage And - tighten all bolts (with 1 on 14) one after another with effort of a stage And (see. Specifications).
- Stage In - tighten all bolts one after another with effort of a stage In (see. Specifications).
- Stage With - tighten all bolts, except No. 11 with effort of a stage With (see. Specifications).

At a stage About a bolt No. 11 it is tightened with smaller than the others effort (see. Specifications). At all do not violate this condition! |
|
|
Order of a tightening of bolts of a head of cylinders - do not forget to grease a carving of a bolt No. 11 (shooter) with hermetic of the Locktite 592 type or its equivalent. |
- Installation of the remained components make as it should be, the return to a removal order.
- Add a cooler and start the engine, having checked it on serviceability of functioning and existence of leakages of a cooler and oil.
