Removal, check of a condition and installation of the oil pump
Removal
|
|
- To Otboltita also lower the case pallet (The section Removal and installation of the pallet of a case).
- Supporting the oil pump, give bolts of its fastening to a cover of the back radical bearing.
|
|
- Give bolts (shooters) and lower the oil pump.
|
- Lower the pump with assembly of the mesh filter of a maslozabornik, having removed them from the car. Smooth out interfaced prokladochny surfaces.

Condition check
|
|
- Uncover the pump.
- Press a planeness measuring instrument (an edge of a steel ruler) to an internal surface of a cover of the pump and try to palm off under it an edge щупа in the thickness of 0,038 mm. If щуп passes in a gap, the pump should be replaced.
- Take a conducted gear wheel of the pump and measure by a micrometer its thickness. If the thickness of a conducted gear wheel appears less than admissible value according to Specifications, it is necessary to replace the pump. The leading gear wheel has the same minimum admissible thickness.

- By means of a micrometer measure thickness of a conducted gear wheel of the pump and compare result to data of Specifications.
|
- By means of measuring щупа define gap size between a conducted gear wheel of the pump and a wall of its case, between acting ends of a teeth of the leader and conducted gear wheels, and also between gear wheels and a pump cover. Compare results of measurements to data of Specifications, in case of excess of admissible limits replace the pump.

- Measure a gap between a conducted gear wheel and the pump case.
|
|
|
- Measure a gap between acting parts of a teeth of gear wheels of the pump.
|
|
|
- Measure a gap between gear wheels of the pump and its cover.
|
|
|
Installation
|
|
- Screw a maslozaborny tube with the screen in the pump and tighten it.
|
|
Track reliability of a tightening of the maslozaborny screen as the guarantee of prevention of hit depends on tightness of this connection in system of greasing of air. |
- Fill the pump with oil, filling in it in a maslozaborny tube.
- Establish the pump on the engine, having replaced laying and having tracked that the power shaft of the pump appeared correctly it is leveled in it.

- The power shaft of the pump (shooter) should be leveled correctly in it.
|
- Establish fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort.
- Establish into place the pallet of a case and fill in in the engine oil.
- Start the engine and check it on leaks and adequacy of pressure of oil.

|
|
