Removal and installation of final collectors
Removal
|
|
Before starting performance of procedure let's to the engine cool down completely. |
|
|
- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Disconnect wires from spark plugs and remove candles (Head of Control and routine maintenance).
- Give fixing nuts and remove thermofilters of final collectors.
|
|
- Remove the thermofilter of a final collector.
|
- Disconnect EGR tube from the inlet pipeline.
- Against the stop cock the parking brake and block (wedges) back wheels. To Poddomkratta a car front also establish it on props.
- Disconnect a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases from a final branch pipe of a final collector.

For an otdavaniye of the "become attached" bolts previously moisten them with getting oil. |
- On a collector established from the passenger party of the car give bolts of fastening of a tube of EGR and lift the receiver.
|
|
- Give two bolts (arrow) of fastening of a tube of EGR to the final collector established from the passenger party of the engine.
|
- First of all weaken external fixture, then central and separate a collector from a head. The part of fixture of final collectors represents hairpins therefore previously take care of marking of an arrangement of fixture that at assembly of a hairpin could be established in the correct order. Besides, pay attention that long remote washers are put on the hairpins used for fastening of thermofilters (between hairpins and screens), keep washers and note places of their installation.

- Note the provision of hairpins and remote washers, then remove a collector.
|
|
|
Installation
|
|
- Installation make upside-down. Smooth out interfaced surfaces of a collector and a head. Remove all traces of a material of old laying and corrosion from a flange of a tube of EGR and a surface of the collector established from the passenger party of the engine interfaced to it. Surely replace laying between a flange of a tube and a collector.
- Establish fixture and tighten it with demanded effort. Move from the collector center outside, achieving demanded effort of a tightening in three stages.
- Carving of bolts of fastening to a collector of a reception pipe of system of production of the fulfilled gases grease previously with anti-taking hermetic, then strongly tighten them.
