General information

System engine cooling

All models of cars considered in this Management are equipped with the system which was under pressure of cooling with thermostatic management of circulation of a cooler. Rotor type the water pump fixed on a forward part of the block pumps over a cooler through the engine. The stream of a cooler washes each of cylinders and moves to a back part of the engine. Formed in block and head molding (ok) cylinders water galleries provide distribution of a cooler and its giving to final ports, to areas of installation of spark plugs and an arrangement of directing plugs of final valves. In system of cooling of 6-cylinder engines the water pump of reversive type (with rotation in the opposite direction) is used.

The thermostat of voskozapolnenny type is placed in the case and fixed in a forward part of the engine. In the course of engine warming up the thermostat is closed and prevents cooler circulation through a radiator. At approach of temperature of the engine to normal working value the thermostat opens, providing cooler pass through a radiator where it cools down before returning to the engine.

Sealing of system of cooling is provided with means of installation of a cover maintaining an elevated pressure on a radiator. Superfluous pressure in system provides increase of a boiling point of a cooler and improves efficiency of functioning of system. At excessive increase of pressure under its pressure there is an opening of a podpruzhinenny safety valve in a cover and or superfluous pressure is dumped in the atmosphere (the cover established on a broad tank on 6-cylinder engines in volume of 4.0 l), or the cooler flows on a connecting tube in a broad tank.

The broad tank plays a double role. It is used as capacity where the fresh cooler is in case of need added and at the same time provides a podderzhivaniye of demanded level of liquid in system, working as a receiver on reception of a cooler extending at an overheat. On 6-cylinder engines in volume of 4.0 l the broad tank is a part being under the pressure of a path of system of cooling through which there is a cooler circulation in the course of normal functioning of the engine.

Heating system

The system of heating consists of the fan and the heat exchanger located in the case of a heater. The heat exchanger by means of hoses incorporates to system of cooling of the engine and a guard of management of the air heater/conditioner on the dashboard in car salon. The cooler warmed up in the engine circulates via the heat exchanger. At heater inclusion in a mode of heating of salon its air zaslonka open, providing connection of the case of a heater with car salon. By means of the switch on a guard of management the fan of a heater which drives air through the heat exchanger to car salon is activated, providing with that its heating.

Air central air

Central air of air consists of the radiator of the condenser established on a forward part, the evaporator located in the neighbourhood with the heat exchanger of a heater, the compressor fixed on the engine, the accumulator serving for accumulation of a liquid phase of a coolant and a conclusion from system of excess of moisture, and also the armaturny lines connecting among themselves everything listed above components.

The fan banishes the warmed-up air from car salon through the evaporator heat exchanger (working by a principle, a return principle of work of a radiator) where it gives the to coolant warmly being in the evaporator. A liquid coolant, beginning to boil, passes to a gaseous phase (evaporates) and, leaving the evaporator, takes away with itself warmth of phase transition.
