Removal and installation of a tube of the calibrated jet

General information

Assembly of a tube of the calibrated jet represents the restrictive block dividing low-pressure head and high-pressure head half filled with a liquid coolant of system. The block regulates a stream of the coolant arriving in the heat exchanger of the evaporator.

The temperature of the evaporator is supervised by pressure tracking in its heat exchanger by means of the electric sensor switch operated by pressure. The switch operates compressor functioning, supporting thereby pressure in the evaporator in the set limits.

If at pressure in system by means of a manometer it is established that in a high-pressure head part pressure is very high, whereas in a low-pressure head part the strong depression (vacuum) takes place, the calibrated jet is hammered and with it it is necessary to replace a tube.

Replacement

For undocking of the connections of refrigerator lines of central air of air equipped with spring locks the special tool (is required see. Section Removal and installation of the heat exchanger of a heater).


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. By means of the special tool (see. The section Removal and installation of the heat exchanger of a heater) disconnect from the evaporator heat exchanger on a partition of an impellent compartment the liquid line going to it from the condenser.
  3. Disconnect the second end of the liquid line from the condenser and remove it from the car.

The tube of the calibrated jet is an integral part of this liquid line and they are replaced with the uniform block.


The tube of the calibrated jet (shooter) is an integral part of the liquid line going to the evaporator.

  1. To Zakuporta of an opening in system blocks immediately after line removal in order to avoid hit in them of moisture and dirt.
  2. Establish into place line assembly with a tube of the calibrated jet.

In the butt connections of lines of system equipped with spring locks at assembly the sealing rings suitable for the use in contact to oil of the R-134a type should be established.

  1. In the same dealer office where discharged system make its oporozhneniye, a charging and check on leaks.
