- Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
- Remove the block of the heater/conditioner of air, having taken out it from under the dashboard (The section Removal and installation of the heat exchanger of a heater).
- Overturn the removed block upside down and give screws of fastening of its two half to each other.
- Remove the central heating sleeve and give the screw.

- For ensuring access to the last screw (shooter) remove the central heating sleeve.

- Carefully overturn the block of the heater/conditioner of air and separate the top half of its casing from the bottom.
- Take the evaporator from the bottom half of a casing.
- Installation make upside-down. If the evaporator is replaced new, add in system of 2 ounces (56,7 g) fresh refrigerator oil (R-134a type).

In the butt connections of lines of system equipped with spring locks at assembly the sealing rings suitable for the use in contact to oil of the R-134a type should be established. |
- In the same workshop where made a discharge, empty, charge and check system on leaks.
